Harj Dhaliwal, RRP Vocational Consultant
Harj Dhaliwal is a Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional with the College of Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals. He has a Registered Rehabilitation Professional designation through the Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada and has specialized training in the selection, administration, and interpretation of psychometric assessments. Harj is a member of the American Board of Vocational Experts. As a Vocational Rehabilitation specialist, he formulates and implements individualized vocational plans to effectively evaluate the vocational potential of individuals with a wide range of disabilities. He speaks fluent Punjabi and has partnerships with numerous ethnic minority local businesses where many of his Non-English speaking clients are placed for situational assessment and evaluation of transferable skills.
Harj has specialized experience working with clients who have had catastrophic injuries including traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury. He holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of British Columbia, and a Master's Degree in Health Sciences (MHSc) from the University of Toronto. Harj utilizes a psychosocial framework of practice when assessing and assisting his clients throughout the vocational rehabilitation process.
